TecPen Fluid. Precision, explained in motion.
TecSense builds the TecPen Fluid, a precision oxygen-measurement instrument from Austria. The brief was an explainer film that could do two jobs at once: explain what the instrument does, and show the engineering quality behind it.
Making Austrian precision visible.
A 48-second film built entirely in 3D, with concise on-screen text and no spoken dialogue.
The overview
A precision instrument deserves a precise explanation.
The TecPen Fluid measures dissolved oxygen in liquids. That purpose is simple to state and hard to picture, because the thing being measured is invisible. The film's job was to make the invisible subject visible, then connect it to the instrument that measures it.
We built the film entirely in 3D: liquid and molecular visualization to establish the problem, and a photoreal product model to carry the answer. Concise on-screen text does the explaining, so the film works with the sound off and needs no translation of spoken dialogue.

The challenge
Explain a technical product without turning the film into a manual.
Technical films usually fail in one of two directions: they oversimplify until the product loses its credibility, or they overload the screen until only an engineer can follow. The TecPen Fluid film had to hold the middle, clear enough to follow in under a minute, precise enough to respect the engineering it represents.

The finished piece is a complete 48-second explainer: 3D visualization of liquids and molecular detail, a photoreal product model, controlled lighting, deliberate camera movement, and short on-screen lines that keep the argument moving. It works as a standalone film and cuts cleanly into shorter product moments.
